Baramundi SoftwareFactory Interior

Baramundi SoftwareFactory provides a space for exchange and innovative ways of working for baramundi software AG. Its interiors follow the architectural design idea of the new building: The wide staircase includes seating steps to make it the office building’s spatial and communicative centerpiece that is used for townhall meetings in combination with the atrium on the first floor.

The communication zones referred to as “living rooms” located on each story line the way to the upper levels. Depending on the floor, these living rooms are adjoined by areas emphasizing different themes, namely the “shop window” on the second floor, which includes temporary workstations, the “library” on the second floor, and the “Tec Lab” on the third floor. These dedicated areas are accessible for all employees.

Starting from the center of the building, the zones designed as open-space offices for focused and individual work are located towards the outside, facing the façade, and offer a high degree of flexibility. Depending on team-specific requirements, they can be structured and designed in many different ways using curtains, room-in-room systems, and small lounge areas.

The balustrades facing the central atrium serve as flexible workplaces so that the building provides a wide range of work options and perspectives.

Responding to the plain and transparent façade design, the interiors feature natural and unclad surfaces – concrete walls and ceilings, exposed hot dip galvanized cable ducts, and black power rails for luminaires lend a contemporary office atmosphere to the building. Natural, subdued colors and warm materials such as wood and textile are used in the work zones, while the areas designed for communication and exchange that face the atrium are designed to be stimulating and lively using textured, starkly contrasting materials.

Bronze-colored curtains along the atrium also allow the work environment to be structured and the space to be altered as required. The curtains help to absorb sound, as does the white acoustic plaster finish that enhances the natural, diffused lighting situation.

The above design considerations resulted in a building that translates baramundi’s values and ways of working into space – a building that responds to the requirements of flexible, agile work while providing ample space for dynamic corporate development and expansion.
