Science to Business Centre
CREAVIS, a subsidiary of Evonik Degussa GmbH, is expanding its research activities at its Marl site. This is why the existing Science to Business Centre Nanotronics is being enhanced by a new biotechnology building. It unites the entire process chain – research, development, applications and production – all under one roof. The leading themes of the design – communication, flexibility and efficiency – are reflected in the open laboratory and office areas. Short pathways, compact constructions and a spatially free arrangement create the conditions that allow scientific know-how to be transformed into marketable products in real time.
The homogeneously laid out structure that has been designed for 75 employees houses two floors of laboratories of safety level S1, a two-storey office module and a technical school. The Science to Business Centre Bio interlocks with the communication areas of the first construction stage to form a constructional entity.
